pare, tnx for your comments. thought i check out your gallery. nice portrait, unique perspective as stated. solid pencils, i don'w know how photo-realistic you intended it to be, if you did, then maybe more detailed and textured shading? i don't know exactly i don't do pencils this way. anywaym i prefer it like this, more unique, more character, lot more interpretation. nice work.

Nicely done but the outline of the bottom of the nose looks a bit too hard. I mean the other shading are soft, so the outline's kinda standout. I'm also not sure where the source of the light is.

I like the angle, and it gives an impression of emotion. I'm not sure if the angles of the eyes match the angle of the face, the right eye (of the subject) appears a little higher than the other. Overall I like it!

luke that is a really strong self portrait. I t is a really powerful point of view and crop. Says alot about your personality. I like that it is b+w too. I also love the texture. Looks like skin. The eyes are the best part.

The angle is awsome, not tipical. (pardon bad spell'n). The cloudiness of the eyes, the eye lashes, brows, the whole thing could be mistaken for an old photo. You did well and I'm pleased you shared it with us. In all honesty, i cant think of anything you could change, save for perhaps trying color. Maybe just color the eyes or lips. Eyes looking too dark or some deep tones needed on the other parts. nose , lips need some more defination/ contrast and the eyes should have highlights..just my opnion. good luck

I like the shading make this a good piece of work. That only thing that I have to comment on is the depth of shadow and light although there wounderfully done the reference has slightly different volumes from what is shown in the drawing giving it that 'fazed out' or fuzzed look to it. 6/7 Top stuff

I liek the detail you have added. Perhaps you could have made the bottom of the lips darker and made the line that defines the chin a little darker. Good to find someone else that likes to use a 6B ps thanks for the comments on my drawings

Very interesting perspective, the motif you've chosen is interesting and you've catched the right view. Nice. It may need a little work on the contrasts though (nose, lips, cheek) to enhance three-dimensionality and without this frame I'd like it more.
