Very good work Luke Just an advice my friend, maybe you should properly crop the white edges in the frame, you can see on the top of the image what i am talking about. great work, only thing I see is on the shirt, the outlines you've done, the lines are too strong. maybe try, instead of making an actual line, use values and difference of hue to make the lines... instead of physically drawing them in. ~slap

Nice ! but because of the Shadow...the head looks pasted on the wall...and that shadow is too dark, maybe u can adjust the contrast in PS. my suggestion is dont go for exact copy from the ref. we can change the contrast for the sake of composition and Art. see the dark shadow below the jaw line...its almost as same as the hair color. hair needs some highlights...i hope i'm not talking too much. btw thanx for letting me know keep working and congrats ...u r nominated

the whole thing doesnt appeal to me, i guess i like fantasy and such in art works.. but goddamn that is photorealistic, you are very talented. you're 16? that is just amazing!! how did you manage to draw the glasses so real? and eyes? maybe im using the wrong pensils (2H, HB) i cannot complain on anything knowing that you're only 16, im jealous man!

Nice style you have here! Very artistic and expressive...I really like your lines work...Good work...8/8 I personally dont agree when people say things about darkness and lightness,because I personally think people do not color match their monitors...So if it looks good on your own monitor,then its ok. (I hope nobody gets offended by this,Its what i think and i expressed this before...There is a great problem in color matching and brightness issues...So if it looks too dark adjust your monitor brightness levels dont blame the work of being to dark or light...)

At a glance I thought it's a photomanipulation (which says a lot... heheh) A suggestion, if you want it to be perfect, pay attention to the shirt's drapery and shadow. It looks rather flat. It's a pity you know... when the face is so perfectly drawn... Other than that, can't say anything bad. Great portrait with great contrast.
