Just an advice my friend, maybe you should properly crop the white edges in the frame, you can see on the top of the image what i am talking about. ( Of course this is just my taste

I personally dont agree when people say things about darkness and lightness,because I personally think people do not color match their monitors...So if it looks good on your own monitor,then its ok.
(I hope nobody gets offended by this,Its what i think and i expressed this before...There is a great problem in color matching and brightness issues...So if it looks too dark adjust your monitor brightness levels dont blame the work of being to dark or light...)

A suggestion, if you want it to be perfect, pay attention to the shirt's drapery and shadow. It looks rather flat. It's a pity you know... when the face is so perfectly drawn...
Other than that, can't say anything bad. Great portrait with great contrast.
